Hey guys,

This is Brandon Hardesty on my old IMDb... I have to get a new one. I went through a phase in middle school when I thought Arnold Schwarzenegger was the most awesome person alive.

Anyway, I played a lead role in this installment of American Pie, and I can tell you this:

1. The writer, director and every producer that worked on the film were adamant about making this American Pie a good, funny movie. There has been a joint, conscious effort to bring back the charm and the heart that the original film had, and that the recent installments have all but lacked. I can guarantee that anyone who watches this film will be surprised, and can at least say to themselves, "Well, at least it wasn't as *beep* as those last three."

2. Eugene Levy is an extremely kind, funny man, and he personally thanked our director for such a pleasant experience on set. He's remarked several times, both off and on record, that he thinks this installment in the American Pie series is the best one in a while.

3. There were talks about possibly putting this film in theaters, but a final decision was made to release it straight-to-DVD. The last I heard, the release was pushed from October to January.

It may sound like I'm defending it because I was a part of the production, but I mean everything that I've said about it. If I didn't think the film was good, I wouldn't bother posting anything about it.
