I wish they'd go back to theaters with the original cast...
...or at least some of them.

Well Tara Reid and Eugene Levy are back. Actually, I shouldn't say 'back' for Levy haha.
LAND OF CANAAN (2009)

Tara Reid's out.
These direct-to-video sequels are lame. On the bright side, the success of Fast & Furious after reuniting an original cast will most likely start a trend -- wouldn't be surprised if an original-cast sequel gets fast-tracked now.

What Would Gibson Do?
You got the cash to support the original cast?
sharelol good point maineiacmadness. but it would be pretty bad*ss to see jim, stiffler and the whole gange 10 years later. the original 3 were great and seeing that cast get together again would be magic! the "straight to dvd releases" weren't terrible tho and i wish people would give them a little more credit. if you enjoy the american pie humor then u will most likely enjoy all the films. virginity, nudity, and premature...ya know...are the backbone of these movies and no matter how many times they present the same joke in a different context, people will laugh! plus, i think releasing these new films 10 years after the original does present the franchise to a new audience and makes those new viewers interested in the earlier, original films. but getting back to the original post, i think getting the original cast back together would be a huge hit and people would flock to theaters to see that movie! i dont know...i guess to me it just seems like "a perfectly natural, normal thing" to do.
I'm Better When I'm Drunk
To be honest the way that many of the careers of the stars of the original trilogy are panning out, it probably wouldn't cost as much as you might think to bring them back together and I'm guessing that a fair few of them would jump at the opportunity to appear in a starring role in what would almost certainly be a successful movie.
sharei totally agree 110% dude.
i actually just had a rant over myspace in a bulletin about this
