Why is he a carpet salesman in this one? Hasn't he been a lawyer in the previous Pies?

See that is what I do not understand either. They make it more confusing you know as a new American Pie movie is made on what his job is to be exactly honest with you.

In naked mile or beta house he was a lawyer for the guys, he got them out of jail.

Yes that is possible that he might have gotten bored with his job and left for another one that he loved even more.

In the last American Pie movie Noah is running a tile and carpet company. That is what it appears in the American Pie Presents The Book Of Love.
