Returning characters

Does anyone know if Jeremy and Tyler are gonna have a part in the final season?
I know Elena is gonna be in at some point. But i think it would be good to get some detail on characters who have left by either mentioning them or seeing them in the season.
Likes of Jeremy, Tyler, Abby, Meredith. They all had parts to play and never really knew whats gone on with them. Also hope The Originals crosses over at some point so we can maybe see some TVD characters on TO in the future

I believe that they are. As for Meredith, the actress and Paul used to be married IRL, but then they divorced, so I think her character is just done. But I don't know why we haven't seen Abby at all, seems strange as she is actually married to Klaus's actor IRL so she's probably still in Julie's sphere. They said somewhere that they'd be bringing back some old faces, so hopefully a lot will be tied up!

We know Sarah Salvatore and Tyler are for sure, Elena is obviously not confirmed. Julie's stated she has at least 10 returning actors/characters shed like to bring on before series end.

Gisuppe? How would that work out? Flashbacks im guessing for a few of them.
If they're gonna bring people back from the dead or to appear for a final goodbye i hope Anna comes back for Jeremy. She was one of my favorite's and i hope Katherine does, she was so much better than Elena and Nina played her much better.

Oh most faces you'll see this season will be in Flashbacks or AU episodes. Lexi, Giuseppe, Emily, Lily, and maybe Vicki will show up via flashbacks. While Julian, Silas, John Gilbert, Jo etc. would show up in AU eps, leaving Elena, Jeremy, and Tyler to return in real time.
