Do ppl actually want it to end?

Are fans happy or Sad? I remember thinking this would last until season 10

reply

I think if they got rid of Julie and the Dries, I would have wanted it to go longer. But it is a death march now. I was watching season 7 and it is painfully bad.

reply

I dasagree. I think the season did a great job transitioning from elena's death. Im loving it. Interesting story lines.

I don't want it to end. Nina left for me with Katherine's death, and after I got over that I was still enjoying the ride. Except for maybe Game of Thrones, I cant list shows where I like the entire cast and where I am invested in their story.

I'm with you. 100%. My only other show that I am THIS invested and have rewatched the entire series more times than I can even count is Battlestar Galactica. -I'm tying TO into TVD here. And am despondant that the former isn't back until 2017. They needed to keep that show on everyone's CURRENT watch-list because it can't afford to lose viewers. Still having TO was the last remaining hope of all true TVD fans. Not only would the loss be crippling in and of itself, if it gets cancelled, there goes ANY chance of seeing the TVD cast again.

I wish I could be sad about it ending, but imo, the show ended after season 3. The last few years, the show has been hollow shell of what it used to be. The writers don't seem to have anymore good stories to tell, so I'm glad it's ending.

reply

I don't, I mean they screw up a lot of stuff but there's still moments where they shine. Kevin being back cause it's ending is a huge plus though. As long as we get a 2 hour finale with 15 episodes of dark, twisting, and fair storytelling. I'll be able to let it go. Nina or no Nina. To me last season was fresh, they almost botched it with Rayna Cruz, but finishing the season centered around Bonnie and the core characters being the ones to deal with it was a huge plus for me.

reply

In a way I don't want it to end but in a way I do because it just isn't as good anymore and once Nina left I feel the show suffered a lot more without her. If Nina stayed then I'd want it to continue.

reply

Honestly? No

But for its best? Kinda

I just can't really imagine this show with like 12 seasons like Supernatural

reply

Neither to be honest, I've gotten bored with it but I can't say I'm happy or upset that it's ending.
