Ugh, Stefan. So unnecessary to compare the girls like that.
I didn't like how he asked her to more so be his hope, I'd rather him offer to be hers, but that'd be a little romantic, can put any doubt in Bonenzo right guys! Or Steroline... Right.
Anyway, so refreshing to see them interact. Thanks Kevin. Btw, I loved his comparison, Elena erased Damon from her mind and Caroline shut off her humanity when her mom died. The comparison wasn't false IMO.
Elena erased Damon because Stefan quashed her hope and literally left her and everyone else swinging in the breeze. It's a bit rich for him ask that of her when he was so quick to let go of his when Bonnie and Damon were in 1994, but that's Stefan for ya!.
Poor Bonnie, she looks totally dejected.

Well, they were dead, with no inkling of where they were, there was no hope to find them and they couldn't have gotten them back anyway, Damon and Bonnie escaped on their own. He was being brutally honest with her, it was her choice to not live with his death.

My bad, they were dead to anyone not in the prison world. Stefan would've given a similar speech, had they been somewhere known, The Other Side was gone though. Damon and Enzo are alive, but yeah she got her memories back, and she did also want them back.

I agree. Bonnie is definitely the strongest of the three women.

Agreed. They always deny Bonnie any weakness and vulnerability. And it's interesting considering the constant power disparity between her and other witches and of course the vampires. She's not allowed to ever take a break from pain.
shareAgreed, I think it was a piece of tone deaf writing tbh. The intent was to show Stefan using his wiles (manipulative nature) to prop up Bonnies' fighting spirit which is obviously flagging. Comparing the women like that was just bad writing but the intent is what matters...to me anyway.

How is it bad writing when all Stefan said was the truth? Compared to Elena and Caroline who are always crying whenever things don't go their way, Bonnie is the strongest emotionally. And I said this even Bonnie is my least fav character.

I don't know if that's true. I'm sure if Bonnie looked, she'd find some spell or potion to magically erase her pain (They have spells for everything else. Lol). But I honestly don't think the writers care enough to give Bonnie some emotional break down story where she just shuts it off. They seem content to just make her tough it out. Just my opinion though. :) share
