I am trying to be optimistic, but like, they have been promising old Damon for awhile now and they haven't delivered. If Damon isn't in control of his own actions, how is that old Damon?
shareNo it isn't the old Damon, still the new and improved Elena worthy version. Except he doesn't really seem to suffer.

The OLD Damon lasted about 8 episodes, the best Damon has been a project spanning the entire seasons. Damon is Damon, he has always lurked beneath the surface of his emo love for Elena throughout the entire series. Love drives Damon, and without it he is a horror, but magnificent to watch....so bring it show! If Delena is really done, I want to see full on Damon crazy.
