"Centuries-old vampire brothers face new evil in the town of Mystic Falls." needs to replace "A teenage girl is torn between two vampire brothers." underneath the Episode Guide for TVD because Elena is not the focus of the show anymore. I stopped watching TVD after season 4, but this is a recommendation.

shareI don't think so- Elena was the main character for six seasons, heavily in the background of Season Seven and Eight, as long as negotiations and schedules line up will be featured heavily in the finale. We don't need a show description writing out a main female protagonist.
The show description is off as far as being inaccurate but whatever it is needs to include her.

We already know what the show is about. It's for viewers who don't know and Elena has been the center of this show for a long time. We saw that more obvious than ever with how much they kept her essence alive in S7
