Do you think those flashbacks with Elena was the just the writers way to actually have her back for the final season because Nina isn't coming back, or do you think it's all setting up for her reunion with Damon? Personally, I feel like it's because she's coming back. What do you think?

shareEverybody needs to get over themselves and give the fans a Delena reunion. I feel like by episode 10 or 11, Elena should come back so that all these characters can start ending their journeys but if that's not possible, the least they can do is have her back for the finale.

The show has always tried to tie in Elena into the plots in some way. Damon turned his switch off so they can show her as why he isnt turning fully bad. Its also the final season so callbacks to past seasons will be aplenty.

Yikes... On a side note, why does Ian look so much better in interviews than he does on TVD? He reminds me of Boone here.

People are all over Ian about being rude but if you watch the normal interview, he really doesn't say anything bad.
