They conveniently got rid of it and will conveniently bring it back when it is needed. This is why Buffy will always be the better vampire show.

shareFunny you say that because right after I finished the episode, i went on Netflix and watched the episode where they flee from Glory and then theyre at the gas station and Willow puts up the barrier spell and I'm like...this is how to write a powerful witch. She was powerful with limitations. Her limitation was that she got sucked into the magic and it kept her from being the all powerful plot solver. Wish they would do that with bonnie instead of taking her powers away altogether.

shareSee I think she wont get it back. As long as she is a witch, she wouldnt be able to become a vampire and live forever with enzo. I could see this as a setup for when she "dies" and becomes a vampire, elena comes back and everyone gets a happy ending. I know Kai said no loopholes, but that may not count if the reason she becomes a vampire has nothing to do with elena.
