Considering Nina left the show, i didnt watch S7, but when i heard she may be returning for S8, ive been considering watching S7, however if she isnt coming back, or it doesnt look like she will, is it even worth it to watch the season?

I think Nina will return for at least the finale. I thought season 7 was bad (others disagree). No character development and the story was scattered. The only 2 major things you need to know are that Jo's supposedly dead twins were transplanted into Caroline's uterus somehow, so she birthed them then decided to be their adopted mom. No, I am not making that up.
Enzo and Bonnie are a true soulmate love thing now, because it was last call and neither of them had anyone to go home with, I guess.
I don't think there is a need to watch 7, but 8 might be fun since it is the last season.
