They will. The writer love Steroline as do the actors and Julie (not that I'm making it the reason why I think they will stay together) but yeah. Sh!t's obviously gonna hit the fan when Sybil gets involved and they are definitely gonna go through their fought patches. But in the end they'll prevail, they always do.
Like Stefan said, Caroline is pretty much family to him and has been for a long time, it wouldn't make sense to keep them apart, especially since you know who is probably dying in the finale.
Then two love story is one of the worst thing to ever happen since season 1
