Stefan has always irked me. His perpetual brooding, his guilt is always supposed to be a pass. He is "horrible"! I think he has killed more people than any other vampire on the show. (Excludes originals) Just because he feels guilt after the fact that doesn't excuse what he's done. And how guilty does he really feel? He seduces and muders countless women, wonder if he compelled them, as a ripper douche bag then stalks Elena at her high school never telling her he is a vampire or that he is a mass murderer until circumstances forced him to. Now it's ok cause Caroline fixed him and he should be a step dad to Ricks kids. Wonder if there will be a list of his victims hidden in the back of the girls closet. Wow, reallly?
Wonder if there will be a list of his victims hidden in the back of the girls closet.
actually yes, in one of the episode when Klaus and Stefan were together, it was shown that Stefan used to write down the name of his victims on the wall inside his closet.
Well, is keeping my victims' letters really so different from writing their names on a wall? Like you did, Ripper? โ โ Klaus to Stefan Salvatore about his victim list in O Come, All Ye Faithful
Actually, he did compel the ones in Mystic Falls, 1864, that must mean he's a serial rapist too. ๐
I am really surprised when I get the impression that fans cannot even comprehend that these vampires esp the older ones could have ever raped anyone. They are vampires for god sake, and on the way somewhere lost their humanity. Stefan was a ripper once, I am sure he must have crossed line somewhere.

Yes, I know. Was using that as an example of how horrible that would be and how horrible Stefan really is. The first I saw of it was in S3 End of the Affair, Stefans closet murder list.
I'm only saying that anyone can assume whatever they want about what they think happened on the show, but when some people proclaim what they desire to be true as the only truth, they need to understand that presumption is not the same as fact. Hence, my "presumption" that Stefan is a serial rapist, maybe...never actually witnessed the deed!! Should I start a new thread๐
Yeah they are all presumptions but is it too hard to believe something like that...
Just because he feels guilt after the fact that doesn't excuse what he's done. And how guilty does he really feel?
He reminds me of Elijah another douche bag.. noble douche bag. Killed Marcel, says I am sorry, Hayley wraps her arms around him to comfort him, he is all good to go.
Should I start a new thread
No ๎น. THis will convey what you want to convey.

I so much loved that scene between Stefan and Klaus. it got even better in a weird way when Klaus started telling stef that connection between victims and being ultimately alone
Ah, hurt Damon fans, "there's too many negative Damon threads, they must be fans of his romantic rival from 3 years ago, this'll stir em up!"
It's a free board though, so carry on.
I'm a Stefan fan, and sometimes a Damon fan, but it has nothing to do with Elena, which is what a lot of people on this board, don't get.
Btw, unlike me, a lot of people aren't just anti-Damon, they're anti-Salvatore, condemn both brothers, Damon's treatment on the show overshadows any frustration with Stefan, which is why I think Damon's hate is more focused on around here.
Stefan's guilt doesn't give him a free pass, but it separates a person like him from a sociopath like pre-merge Kai. He feels remorse, it's a redeemable quality. Stefan also hasn't gone on a murdering spree cause of his feelings being hurt, he hasn't turned his humanity off by choice, and he's not a dick to everyone on the show. 98% of the time in the series he has been forced to be bad.
There's times he hasn't, killing Andie was unesseceray, he wasn't put in that exact position by choice, but yeah the murder still wasn't nesscesary. He didn't need to stalk her but I also can't relate to seeing a person with a exact image of a dead loved ones face. He kind of needed to lie to her about being a vampire though, how would YOU tell someone you're over a century old and have eaten people. He didn't bring up he was the ripper, except he did, when he told her about his problems with human blood. I'm sure that's the same as you know muredering an entire family bloodline while you're with Elena? Right?
I also love the equation that he's "self-righteous" because he's told Damon not to kill people, even though Enzo, Alaric, Elena, Caroline, and Klaus have all done the same and have all killed before, yet have never called such.
Yes, I love the notion that "being bad and owning it" is better than trying to be good.
Also your entire group of friends will turn on you if you friendzone one of them.
Yes, it's free speech for all of us and yes, I will carry on with that. As far as I know, I don't have friends here. And yes, the notion of being bad and owning it is good, it's called honesty. Know thyself.
