I am pretty sure a reg vamp should not be able to kill a hybrid. Tyler was a hybrid. Younger than Damian but the fact he was both vamp and werewolf trumps that, yes?

So how could Damian kill him?

He was just a werewolf. He lost being a hybrid when he died back in I think season 5 and went to The Other side because of the Travelers. When he came back he was a human. Then he killed whats her name the Gemini in season 6 so it reactivated the werewolf gene.

Tyler was no longer a hybrid. A hybrid is more powerful than a Average baby vampires,and werewolves. But a young vampire/or hybrid can not beat a 200 year old vampire.
