Dunno his death was lame. It was a lame attempt at pulling heart strings realistically he was the odd one out.

Tyler lost his dad season one finale.
Tyler lost his mum season 3 or 4.
Tyler lost Caroline.
Tyler's not even a hybrid anymore making him lame again.
Tyler had a girlfriend then had to kill her to trigger his curse.
He was in 2 episodes last season and it just was boring.

I just didn't care that he died.
They're too scared to actually kill someone of meaning.
They'll never kill Matt for some reason.
Bonnie has died 898777788 times so killing her would be boring.
Caroline is Stefan's happy ending so she won't die.
Damon and Stefan won't die because they're the show.
Enzo won't die because he's Bonnie's happy ending which is lame cos she should be with Jeremy he's human. She'll just get old and he'll still look the same.
Alaric has twins and has already died so he won't get killed.

Killing Tyler was not even heart wrenching. It was lame.

I do feel bad for Michael Trevino being a victim of uncaring writers. after tyler vs Klaus fued ended with their one fight on the originals it seemed like TVD writers ran out of ideas for him. Tyler\Liv were an ok couple but should have been built up more

I loved Tyler, disappointed he got killed off but understand they wanted to shock.

It wasn't even shocking in my opinion. They bring an actor back to the show only to kill him off? Meh. Now if they had the gang try to contact Tyler because they needed his help (no matter how convoluted it would have sounded, just like almost everything else by now) and then find out he had died would have probably been more shocking to me. Because the actor was brought in for his death scene I just get this feeling we're going to see Tyler again. It didn't feel final. It would have if it had happened off-screen.

Anyone dying on this show for good will just be redundant to me because they have been killed about a billion times throughout the series - therefore Tyler's actual death meant nothing to me - not only that but the death itself was awful

Even the funeral scenes sucked

TVD is just like Supernatural - death is meaningless

wait so he's actually dead? it was so anti climactic I thought he wasn't really dead. LOL. wow. what a lame ass attempt to provide feels.

I think tyler deserved a much better sendoff than what he got.
