Tyler

His character deserved a much better send off than that. I'm not opposed to killing of previous main characters but that was bordering on pathetic.

Completely agree. He wasn't always my favorite character, but having him show up for 2 minutes...pretty bad. Not to mention I'm at the point where I agree that Damon's beyond the point of redemption. He always has been questionable, even going back to Vicki in season 1, but now it's like - just kill him and get it done with.

Pretty much. I'm Re-watching the series on Netflix...man...the writing in the first 2 seasons was so much better

I agree with all of you., just it's terrible treatment. Maybe just hopefully we'll get a voice over more about that letter that Matt got from him in the future.? before it's all too late. s

reply

Agreed. Couldn't agree more actually. I personally always liked Tyler, and wish they hadn't killed him at all. Because it not only take him out of TVD, but removes any possibility of him making future appearances on the Originals. But he deff deserved a better send off regardless.

The actor who plays Tyler is cute but when I met him two years ago dear god his breath stank

I just watched episode 3: what was Tyler doing on that road? And why kill him? Because he works for the Armoury? I'm a little lost.

I imagine Tyler meeting cade in hell who shows him mason and liv in hell wearing rags, and fighting in a cage against Vicki, Dwayne and all of Tyler's hybrid friends on cade's orders! And their conversation goes down like this:

Tyler: Why are you showing this?
Cade: Because they are taking punishment from me, Vicki and the hybrids that was originally meant for you. Your refusing to forgive your uncle for his mistakes when he came to talk to you when the veil was down when the other side was still there, and your need to punish Klaus and Hayley, including your brief decent into insanity is what led Mason to give his soul to me so you can be made mortal again, in exchange he gave up his chance to find peace in heaven to save your ass. And Liv, she's is here because you stood by and let her kill a man you injured to save you from the fate of being a werewolf again, you cemented her soul for hell in that moment without knowing it. plus, you abandoned her over one bad choice out of grief over her brother, causing her to spend her days in misery aka a living hell alone, distanted from everybody. and when she tries to make amends to you over it before her death, you baited her into a fight that destroyed her hope for you two to get back together and it led her to give up her life for you in last effort to make you see that she was sorry.

Tyler: I didn't make them do it.
Cade: But in a way you did, Tyler. You see, it was you failing to realize that in despite of everything, they still love you and they would've done anything to make it up to you, even enduring hell in your place so you can have peace without them. They begged and pleaded with me not to bring your soul here once you died but I gave them my version of No by having their tongues removed myself, making them both mute for all eternity. So, now you know the truth of their fate and yours. Will you stay to serve your sentence with them and face your sins or will you move on to heaven, leaving them at my mercy and the mercy of Vicki and the hybrids whom you also failed? make your choice!

Tyler is shocked by this revelation and the choice cade is asking him to make, save himself or save Mason and Liv from more torment?
