Matt's Dad: Can he be trusted?

Matt's dad: Could he knows more then he's
letting on?

I think Matt's dad knows more then he is letting on.
Matt hasn't seen his father since he walked out on the family when Matt was a young boy. He didn't even try to get in touch with the family after Vicki's death, nor did he attend her funeral. Now he returns to Mystic falls the same time that a siren shows up in Mystic falls. A siren who sent Damon after him to retrieve something from him, that he claims he knows nothing about. But could he know more then he's letting on?

Matt's father hasn't been back in Mystic fall since Matt was little, so what brings him to town now? He clearly wasn't in town to see Matt considering that he didn't call Matt until after Damon threaten to kill him. So why is he in town?

Matt explained about vampires and sirens to him,but while he seem to act like he didn't know,he didn't seem all that surprised,nor shock about it. He seem to just accept it. I think that he might not have known about vampires (<i> Although most of the parents of Mystic fall was part of the vampires council. I will give him the benefit of a doubt </I>) but I think he might have been fully aware of the siren. I think Matt's dad might be hiding something. He might even be working for Cade.

Do you trust Matt's dad? Can he be trusted? Do you think he could be hiding something? If so why,or why not?

Surely Kelly returns. I am upset they never did that succubus story.

Maybe they will find a way to bring Vicki back and allow her to find peace and not be stuck in hell.

I deffs think they'll manage to rescue some people from hell, Vicki, Tyler, Georgie, whoever else appears...After all, this is the last season and JP loves cameos from old characters. I think we'll get a lot of closure and hopefully a happy ending for the characters that deserve it

I really want Matt to be happy for once, so I hope his dad isn't shady.

Yes, they're likely will be able to rescue everyone . However,I wonder what part Matt's father will play in it all? I think Matt's father is there to take people to Cade. Sybil wants to escape Cade.

I think he knows more too and I am fully expecting that they blame this on Matt's mom somehow.

I think it could mirror Tripp's story line. Anyhow I hope hot Matt's mom makes it back.

I don't trust Matt's dad. Matt keeps dropping bombshells on him and he just seems way too calm and accepting of it. I think he does know more than he's letting on. Granted his Dad is from Mystic Falls, so he could have possibly picked up some of the stories and rumors circulating around, but still... something is definitely amiss.

Matt found his Dad , his Dad didn't come back. So far his Dad has seemed oblivious to the supernatural, and only has an adversion to family.
Nope, don't think he's innocent, I think he may be a Druid, and know a lot more than Matt wants to know about Mystic Falls.

We're all on our way out, act accordingly.

Matt is the only living human man/boy, left in Mystic Falls, Non supernatural being, that makes him pretty special or extra evil.
Maybe extra good, hmmm..
