Guys, I need a favour. I liked watching this show while I was younger and personaly enjoyed it unitl season 5 I think. I barely watched through few episodes of season 7. Simply I want to finish it (OCD I say), but I don't want to watch the whole season 7, which is was boring, like previous ones. Of course, I'm all subjective on this.

What I want is someone to summarize me what important happened in season 7, so that I could start watching season 8 sometimes in the future, as it's the final season of the show. I like watching everything revloving around vampires, but this one is really pathetic sometimes. All that stuff who likes/fuc*s who etc. is really irritating to me.

I hope someone will help me.

Nothing happened. Seriously. The whole season was inconsequential overall, with one exception. So turns out that Jo's twins were magically implanted into Caroline who carried them to term for Alaric. She bonded with them and is now their adoptive mother. Yes, vampire Caroline is a mother to twin girls and is co-parenting with Ric.

I would say watch the last 4 or 5 episodes of the season and you will be up to speed with what is happening in S8. Everything that came before has no bearing on this season really.
