It's not daddy you could see in the preview to next week they're celebrating Christmas and he's alive. More than likely would happen is his deal to Cade has already taken effect and he is officially in mortal

He sorta like the supernatural devil. He was a good guy at first but then people turned on him and that made him what he is now. But he feeds off the souls of the wicked. He made a deal the the sirens to bring him souls
