Soo...Damn *spoilers*

Man that last episode was intense. I hope by the end of this season damon finds his way back and redeems himself and he and Stefan find their way out of the deal with cade.

I also really hate that ric and damons friendship has come to this. I also feel like ever since elena left the show, it's gone downhill. I'll still watch every episode but it's just not the same.

I hate that too. just last season we saw him actually worried about his buddy again, then it was thrown out the window.

To be fair, Damon killed Rick twice, so maybe Damon has one more coming?
Hate it that they're not buds anymore.
Just another reason for me to hate Matt though. What a friggin hypocrite.

I've always been pretty meh about Matt. He is a plot device mostly.
Dalaric has always had it's ups and downs, and on balance I think they are pretty even. Alaric was killed by Damon in S1 because he went after Damon with a stake and even then Damon gave him a chance to walk away. Back then you didn't mess with Damon. Yes Damon slept with his wife and he also turned her but it's clear that was all on Isobel, it was what she wanted at the time and Ric came to accept that.
Damon was a dick when he snapped Rics neck in S3, but he knew Ric wasn't going to die. Ric staking Damon this time was different. It was done in a hate-filled rage, he intended to inflict pain and he intended to kill Damon for good. This was the person he believed to be the closest thing he had to a brother, and the actual brother of the person who he believes just rescued his children, while the real perpetrators are off gallivanting around free as birds. I would have like to see more of a follow through to that awesome threatening phonecall he made to Selene.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

I like your reference to Damon being the closest thing Rick has ever had to a brother, it reminds me of Enzo, telling Stefan he is no brother to Damon because brothers don't give up, Damon and Stefan obviously love each other but hate each other also, just wondering where this brotherhood mess is going.
Am def annoyed that Stefan gets the credit for Damons plan to save the twins. Find it interesting though that Rick wouldn't see through it , Damon tried to warn him when he basically told Rick at Tyler's funeral " the genius who knows us all better than ourselves" sarcastically, was a warning about Seline, after Rick found out about Selines sick infiltration of his home and hijacking his kids
he was really pissed at himself for missing it. The fact that he killed Damon anyway makes me suspicious of Matt and Pete.
Hope Selene gets a gruesome TVD style goodbye, Sybil too!
