Yes. Alaric will likely do a crossovers to,New Orleans. I think he might get killed there considering that if he's not a friend to Damon anymore,and no longer has a connection to Caroline anymore they might as well kill him off. Actually, I think Alaric probably will die considering that in season 7 Caroline and the twins showed up in New Orleans looking for Klaus,and Alaric wasn't with her.

Caroline already went to NOLA when the huntress was after Stefan. The huntress has been dead for a while and Alaricis still alive. Alaric might die but he was still kicking when Caroline went to NOLA.
If Alaric wants to get the kids away from vampires, NOLA is the last place he should be going.

when TO comes back, it will be after five year time jump which means Caroline has already been to nola (three year time jump). Alaric, if ur theory is right dies at end of tvd, then he cannot be alive in TO. From Carinas tweet it is clear that he is alive in TO time line but like cece pointed out, why take kids to city of supernatural if he wants to keep them SAFE?
