shareI didnt buy it. And when Rick threatened to torture her, I really didn't buy it. Goes against his charachter.
shareIt was meant to be a little kind of homage to Taken, surely no one the writers room has never seen that movie. They k e what they were doing.
shareYa I noticed with TVD they used a lot of twilight moments in the first season..even similar lines. And then the "baby vamp" plot..really..I'm surprised she didn't get sued cuz that's pretty much straight outta twilight. And the whole vampire vs werewolf thing..the only thing that was different was witches..but even when they brought in a vamp hunter (one of the 5) I instantly thought of Buffy..super strength etc..I'm surprised Julie is allowed to work most of her ideas came from somewhere else...yes I understand ppl get ideas from other sources..but this isn't THAT different its almost the same idea.
shareOh right...ANGEL had a baby too..so I guess he was the first vamp to be a dad...i think angel was out before the last book went out
shareWell, Supernatural hunters weren't originally a Buffy thing, female hunters yes, but The Five was more of their idea, it was just surrounding plot anyway to build Silas up.
They also didn't have Vampire babies, but a Vampire pregnancy. It was only integrated because of Candices pregnancy so I'll let them slide on copying.
Vampires vs Werewolves wasn't started by Twilight either, hell TVD is actually older than Twilight.
They copied Angel being thrown in water though, and the Powerful huntress. Besides that their ideas aren't that unoriginal because they usually put their twist on it like they're doing with Cade (The Devil) right now.
