From the beginning, I have felt like Elena will not end up with either of the Salvatore brothers. I think she will end up with #Matt

No, only loving Damon consumes Elena, she wants that and I can't blame her for that.

Like the odd ending of True blood when Sookie ended up with a random, and not Eric like she should have

No she wont. That would piss off every single shipper group, this show wont do that. If they didnt care about fans being happy, they would have just killed Elena

Been there, done that. She already rejected him. I think she will end up being single, rightfully so.

That would make no sense. She was never truly IN love with him.

For the sake of the fans who are still watching TVD, I really hope you're wrong. True Blood had a crap ending like that and it did not go over well with the viewers. For TVD, I'd actually consider this a worse ending than True Blood's because Elena made it clear in season one that she was never in love with Matt. I remember her describing their relationship as "passionless."

could happen, I was thinking that too not since the beginning, but lately, now I'm thinking they're going to play that card as far as they can till the end , maybe series finale. Then Delena.
