Damon getting his humanity back

If Damon still has his humanity turned off and Elena wakes up and is the one to bring him back, why song should they use when Damon first sees Elena and realizes shes back? This show always has an excellent selection of song choices. I feel like the song they are going to use is going to make us all cry and it's going to be a very emotional scene. That is if Elena does return and bring him back. What song would you all like them to use in this specific scene?

I think he'll get his humanity back before Elena returns, although, i think memories of her will be how it comes back. I think he has it back by 8x09 and the most we can expect is to have Elena return at the end of 8x14 so they can give her a well-deserved endgame in the last 2 eps. She might only be in the finale though.

As for song choice, Ed Sheeran has a new album coming out in 2017 and I wish it would come out before the Delena endgame so we get one song in a scene. As for that specific scene…maybe a Sleeping At Last song?

Sleeping at last are awesome. I have always loved "Sun". With recent "spoilers" I have no doubt that DE will get there endgame scenes. Nina IS coming back. I feel it in my bones.

I'm gonna vote they re-use Florence and the Machine - Never let me go as a homage to their motel kiss scene.
