I was so happy when Bonnie chose Enzo (I love Enzo and Bonnie)over Damon. Bonnie choosing to save Endorsed over Damon is equal to Bonnie choosing her own happiness over Elena's. Finally Bonnie put herself first. She finally choose someone who will put her first, and choose to save her over all others.

I HATE Bonnie and Enzo lol, but I was glad too. If Bonnie had chosen Damon...like...I would have had to quit this show. I do not know why anyone would expect her to choose him.

I mean, they are saying Damon should've let Bonnie die last season, she deserves to die, etc. What threw me was the fact that a lot of them are Bamon fans. I've never really seen that much anger towards Bonnie from the Bamon fandom like this.

Hah there was no logical explanation for Bonnie to choose Damon here. Enzo is the only person on this show who has put her first. Jeremy was a close second but Elena came first which makes sense. Bonnie isn't Damon's first choice. Not even his 2nd. I'm not sure who'd get 3rd billing Bonnie or Alaric.
I've seen Bamon fans say "but he chose Bonnie over Elena in 6x22" Actually, that's not what the choice was. Elena wasn't dying. If he had had to choose between Bonnie or Elena dying there would be no question. Anyone who stans Bonnie should want her to choose the guy that would choose her.
There's also a difference in the fact that Enzo has no one else in his life to care about. When Lily was in his life he was willing to go all out for her. Bonnie is "picked" by Enzo on the fact that he would be alone, with no one else without her.
If Maggie or Lily were alive then that would be the true test. Who else has Enzo had to care for that he has had to choose over Bonnie or Bonnie over? Fact is when Lily was alive, Enzo only cared about winning Lily's love, even when Bonnie was there talking about what he was worth. Bonnie is "put first" by the default of Enzo having no one else in his life.
There wouldn't be a true test until you had Enzo getting someone else in his life that he deeply cares about.

Damon has chosen Bonnie over Elena tho. Damon has done more to save Bonnie than Enzo has done. Enzo was willing to let Bonnie die, because as it was pointed out he has no one else besides Bonnie and is desperate for someone to love him. Without Damon Bonnie would have died in Season 7.
Enzo's wrong doings may be all forgotten about use Bonnie to give him importance. But, Damon was the one trying to save Bonnie from Enzo's decisions in Season 7 that put Bonnie in danger. Such as Enzo pistol whipping her and drugging her, which lead to Damon not being able to heal her with his blood and then desiccating and then Enzo giving Bonnie pills for three years that poisoned her.
Enzo would have allowed Bonnie to give up on her life at the end of Season 7, while Damon did not. Bonnie wanted to give up on her life in Season 7, but is willing to fight for Enzo to the end.
Bonnie is being used to give Enzo importance and looks bad in some cases, like expecting Stefan to pick Enzo over Damon, when Enzo went out of his way to try to get revenge on Stefan and hurt Stefan. But, they need someone there to make Enzo look good and Bonnie is the one being used to do it

Well, actually, if we're going by the shows twisted continuity, Stefan doesn't want to kill Enzo, in fact he literally said " I'm not letting you and Damon kill eachother". As if they were friends, he could've been like "we owe it to Bonnie to save him too" or something and I would've been okay with it.
Stefan also only got around to actually killing Enzo when Damon was losing the fight.
Bonnie (under some twisted logic) kind of shamed Stefan for choosing Damon, because Enzo's been helping them. In good writers hands Stefan would've brought up 5x19, and how he not only saved her life from Enzo but was willing to let him live had he not shut off his humanity.
The Stefan/Enzo Stefan/Bonnie and Bonnie/Enzo have been completely retconned since Season 7. Stefan and Enzo shouldn't even tolerate eachother in the same room, they've never even discussed the events of what happened between them through 5x13 to 6x19. They're should literally be Enemies. Stefan and Bonnie should be damn near best friends, and Bonnie and Enzo's entire relationship strides on Enzo's jealousy of Bonnie and Damon's friendship. However apparently there needs to be no discussing or development in any of these situations.

Sybil wanted Enzo to turn off his humanity switch and that's what he ended up doing. The whole 'fight-to-the-death' was part of her manipulations.

I think he will die protecting Bonnie. It's the show's way to again screw Bonnie while still getting to claim that it's a great Bonnie storyline since he died for her.
