Connection made to "The Night World" Volumes by L.J. Smith

Finally!!! Finally there's been a hint of Smith's novel series that came before Vampire Diaries. Those novels were so amazing, and very well written. I have been waiting for years for these to become their own tv series or movie series but I'll settle for introducing them in TVD. But is it bad that I'm still holding out for a movie or tv series based on her Night World volumes??

Please tell me someone else has read them...Anyone? ANYONE???

I've read all of them. I feel I've been waiting for Strange Fate half my life. But what is the connection between NW and TVD (TV)?

If NW was made into TV, it would need to be like an anthology series like AHS because the focused characters change from book to book. I'm not saying it's impossible but US TV likes to keep shows running indefinitely.

So sorry can't believe I left that out. They mention "The Huntress" and that was the title of one the stories in one of the volumes.

And you're right they each have a separate story. But in the third volume they all kinda gather, with Circle Daybreak and the 4 superpowers (it's been a while since I've read them), getting ready to fight against opposing Circle. Smith was supposed to write a last fourth book but it's been years.
