IF Nina doesn't return than the last two season shouldn't matter..

Here's why I see it that way... Nina was TVD last season was grieving her and trying to get her back.

This season is like a reboot but to the series kinda like the 4th and last season of the OC once the main character left it was never the same and it failed IMHO.

I personally don't get the siren crap.. sorryNOTsorry

I hope Katherine returns. I wonder if it's even possible anyone taken to VD's hell can find peace. Maybe Vicki will get peace.

How about Kai and Katherine team up in the last few episodes..

Katherine returns, Kai is resurrected. (A spell goes wrong so all the dead return)

In order to keep Katherine alive Kai sets out to kill Elena..

It would make for a excellent 3 part final 3 episodes IMHO..

Yeah, me too. Odds are from what we know of either character is that they'll loathe each other.
