She'll die an old, old lady, asleep on her bed, surrounded by people who love her*. It's the very least that this crappy show can do for her.

*(Who are hopefully not vampires and/or waiting for Elena to wake up. But that might be asking too much, I know. )

If only but I highly doubt it. With 8 being the final season I actually have this morbid curiosity of how JP will kill off Bonnie. Will it be a full throttle offense on my sensibilities as I have no doubt of the ugliness in that woman's heart or will KW's presence stay her hand just a little bit? Either way I refuse to watch.

They'll be curing Damon/Enzo, at least Damon within the first 5 episodes.

So it depends on whether or not Plec hates Bonkai or Bamon fans more. If it's Bonkai, totally going to be Kai. If Bamon, well Damon is going to slice her head off!

I actually see her dying of old age surrounded by her kids and grandkids. We have VO of Bonnie telling Elena about her life. As she passes away her eyes close and Elena's eyes open and that's how the show ends. I've always thought that's how Bonnie storyline ends when we realise they were connected. I think Bonnie might be the last character we hear from if Nina doesn't come back.

This is my theory, too. I believe Bonnie will get to live her 60 years, if only to add to the aaaaaaangst that is Damon having to tolerate being apart from Elena for so long.

And there's no cause to kill her with this season ending. Yet Plec is so spiteful and seems to truly hate Kat Graham that I won't be surprised if she has Bonnie die prematurely IF Kevin hadn't returned for s8. But since he's around, I want to believe he'll temper her more racist instincts and give Bonnie a gracious death.

See, I think this is what they'll do the episode before the series finale. I think the shows last moments will put Stefan and Damon's story to rest IF Stefan won't be seen on TO again, if they have plans to throw him over there I see it being Elena and Damon ending the show.

So late to this discussion, but I think she'll have a scene where she's dead for like a minute, then resuscitated back to life and wakes up to find Elena at her side.

If anything I think this season proves how much she loves Enzo and is willing to put herself first more now.
So my speculations are that yes she will live long-ish, but her death won't be from old age. I think there will be one great big battle and Enzo will be harmed and actually be dying. So Bonnie makes the decision herself to die with him because her life from that moment on without Enzo would be another tragedy she wouldn't want to willingly handle. And she would know that by doing so her friend Elena comes back so it's a plus and in the end it would be worth it.

But yeah I think if she does die, it would be for Enzo and it would be at her own hand because she's strong enough not to be another casualty for her friends.
