The Simple Intimacy Of The Near Touch

THE PAGEANT – Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) return to Mystic Falls at Sybil’s (guest star Nathalie Kelley) request as she is still in search of the historical artifact. Bonnie (Kat Graham) returns from Paris wearing a vile of Enzo’s (Michael Malarkey) blood making Caroline (Candice King), wonder if she will become a vampire. Stefan, Damon, Caroline, Bonnie and Enzo all attend the Miss Mystic Falls pageant where Sybil continues to taunt Damon with memories of Elena. Geoff Shotz directed the episode, written by Neil Reynolds and Penny Cox (#809). Original airdate: 1/2

So do anyone think Bonnie might chose to be a vampire and be with Enzo? If so, would that break the sleeping beauty curse on Elena?

No. I'm pretty sure that's a loophole, I think they're actually going to bring Kai back in exchange for him removing the spell while Stefan and Damon or Enzo are in Hell, I think Caroline's going to tell Bonnie she can't become a vampire to put more drama into the Benzo the stuff.

I think it will be great if they could get Kai/Chris wood to return and remove the curse off Elena. But I also think Bonnie might turn. Bonnie no longer has her powers, and Kat Graham has ask to be killed off. Having Bonnie turn to be with Enzo will kill her off and give her a happy ending all at the same time.

Did the fact that they typed "vile of blood" instead of "vial of blood" bug anyone other than me? Then again it's one of my pet peeves when people use the word defiantly when they actually mean definitely so probably not, lol.

Yes,it did. Typos like that only slip through if they didn't send it to the proofreader.

I wonder how much time past between the Christmas episode,and Bonnie's return from her trip?
Damon,Stefan,Bonnie and Caroline are way too old to attend the Miss Mystic fall dance, so I sure they are there as Chaperone. Does anyone know if we will see April? It the last season of the show. It seem like April should be there to give away the crown.

April won the crown in season 4, right just before their college freshman year? Since then it's been SIX YEARS in TVD time.

I'm English, and I usually spell it "phial", but "vial" is also an accepted spelling and it essentially means the same thing. "Phial" is not a spelling used in the USA.

Would be a big impact if Nina was able to come back during Miss Mystic pageant but I know that can't happen.
