S07 E14 and E15, am I missing something?

I am at the point where Stefan was just saved by Klaus in the woods, he kills Reina, now he's taking him to see this witch (end of E14). I started E15 and in the beginning "Previously on..." we see the witch putting paste on his wound. Did they just squish this bit of the story in this way or did I miss something?

There was a crossover, the story continued on The Originals 3x13.
