So I found the full version of that disgusting rumour from a certain fan's blog:

An extra on the tvd set DM'd me that kai's spell was a lie. [u]elena will never wake up[/u]. rather he's returning to stake enzo. he'll try to rape bonnie & damon will save her & that's where endgame bamon will start. cade will want kai as his new minion so damon will bargain with cade to make him human in exchange.

Now doesn't that sound like a Bamon wishlist - Elena gone, Enzo dead, Kai irredeemable and Damon left standing for Bonnie to depend on.

Forget that an attempted rape or the loss of the man she loves will destroy Bonnie, what really matters to these fans is that Damon is there to pick up the pieces.

One more thing to add to the evidence of how these so-called Bamon fans are really just Damon fans projecting themselves into Bonnie.

This is the original thing? Lol this is mega false then, I believed it just cause they do something harsh to Bonnie, no way they're making Bamon happen NOW with like, 8 eps left.

I heard the rumor before I read that little message, so I was just confused because it seemed so ridiculous, but now? Pure awful fanfiction.

I don't know if it was a Bamon fan or someone who wanted to goad Bamon fans because the sender was anonymous. I think it happened last season as well, there were people lying about the finale stating Bonnie and Damon were going to kiss, and in reality they didn't even share screentime.

My ass may be dumb, but I ain't no dumbass...
