I thought Sybil was free of Cade?

I thought that meant she could die as human. Or is that only Selene that wanted a human life? Did i miss something? Cuz when damon killed her (the first time) and we didn't see her in a while i thought she was actually dead..but then she showed up and i was thinking..I thought she could die now that her deal with Cade was done.

As I understand it, Sybil struck a deal to keep her immortality. Like a "finder's fee" for bringing the Salvatores to Cade. But Seline was left out of the bargain so she is mortal now and will go to Hell when she dies. However, I thought she was meant to lose her powers as well, but she used them to release the Saltzman twins from their bond or whatever. So I might have misunderstood.

Sybil made a deal to get out of her contract with Cade. She brought him one ripper (Stefan) who can slaughter a whole village as well as bring him more souls in exchange Cade would give her immortality forever,and her freedom . Plus she gets to avoid hell forever.

So she can't be killed.
