Well we know that there supposed to be a wedding,and after the recent spoiler, I doubt it would be Caroline and Stefan. Plus we know Julie Plec would never give Bonnie a happy ending. So of course it will be Damon and Elena. But on the other hand he could just be reading his lines.

Nina only said she will appear in the series finale. It's not a Delena wedding. I doubt she's even returning.

No i 100% think the wedding is Sterolines. I was just thinking they could already be married if its a time jump.
I do think Steroline are getting married in 8x15. I'm thinking maybe Delena are already married? There's a possibility that 8x15 shows us a flashforward but I'm not sure where Elena would be. idk my brain hurts trying to figure it all out. haha Could possibly be a dream sequence. who knows?

Honestly, I think it Ian's wedding ring. I'm sure he's been pictured wearing it on set before. He's probably just chilling between takes.
Perhaps it's just me and my wishful thinking because i'm not really hankering after a DE wedding, never mind a rushed one and it would feel rushed IMO if Nina only comes back for one or two eps.

That's the thing. Last time Damon was pictured wearing a ring in the 6x21 bts pics people wrote it off bc Ian wears rings a lot and it turned out to be his ring from the Delena visions. While on set there would be no need for him not to be in full character, with his daylight ring, unless he's human etc. He would've left his wedding ring in his trailer. There is a chance its his wedding ring but it's just not logical for him to slip it on and off inbetween takes. I don't think we'll see a Delena wedding. They already had wedding type scenes in front of the altar in 6x21. If there's a 5 year time jump and this ring does end up being a wedding ring then they'll already be married.

So look at this! The guy, John Hickman, deleted that pic on insta of he and Ian and reposted this one. Cutting off the arm so you don't see the ring. Hmmm. Wonder what reason he wouldve had to do that?
