On the crypt it told us damons birth year. 1839. That means he was 25 when he was turned. We knew Stefan was 17 but we've never known until now how old Damon is.
Damon is 178 years old. 1839-2017
Stefan is 170 years old. 1847-2017

Damon is June 18, 1839 (at first it was believed to be 1841 until the end of season 5 when it was changed)

Stefan is November 1, 1846

They were turned September 25, 1864 at age 25 & 17.
They are overall 178 & 171 years old.
