What if Kai lied about the "no loophole" thing

Maybe Bonnie can turn into a vampire and thus wake Elena up. How can we be sure Kai was telling the truth? He is known to be a manipulator.

I said it before. I think the whole spell is a lie. They didn't try anything fearing to kill one of them or both and I think it will turn out that they could have easily woken her up without risking Bonnie's or Elena's life.

Right bc every spell in the TVD/TO universe has a loophole. You can't just all of a sudden call no loopholes. I think he was lying as well

Me too. It's kind of an extra layer of "*beep* you" on top of the spell for him top have lied about the loopholes.

True. Kai could have lied because he wanted Damon to kill Elena,and didn't want them to look for ways to undo the spell. There is always a loophole. I think Grams,or one of the other witches said that. I can see Bonnie being hurt and dying, but she has Enzo's blood necklace that turns her (without her drinking blood) she turns and they go to check on Elena and she's alive.
