Damon turned her, yes, but Stefan killed her. He could have snapped her neck or staked her anywhere except the heart to incapacitate her, but instead he killed her.
I hate how Damon gets all the blame for this when Stefan is the one who killed her off for good.

Yeah, I think it's fair to say Damon is responsible for what happened to Vikki. He was a very bad vampire but it was fun watching him back then. 1x06 is among my top 10 eps and I loved hearing "Enjoy the silence" being played at the Mystic Grill in this last episode. That was a nice throwback.

Season 1 Damon was very entertaining. Really, there isn't a lot about season 1 that I didn't enjoy. :D
"Enjoy the Silence" is also one of my favorite songs played on this show.
Damon killed Vicky as a human first.
shareYes, Damon had to kill her to turn her, but she was back to life as a vampire. Stefan was the one who finished her off. If not, she could have learned to live as a vampire, could have adjusted (like Caroline). It's unfair to shift all the blame onto Damon when Stefan was the one who ended her.

Damon would've killed her anyway if she risked him getting caught by the Council and risked his Katherine tomb plan.
She wasn't going to adjust like Caroline, who had Stefan, Elena, and Bonnie's help. Vicki was already struggling with Drugs, alcohol and guys.
Bottom line, Damon killed her.

shareIt was the same argument when Jeremy died. Katherine got the blame when in actuality it was Silas that killed Jeremy.
In my opinion both parties are at fault for both deaths.
Katherine got the blame and rightly so just like Damon got slammed for feeding Katherine to Silas because that is what he did. It's like deliberately pushing a human into crocodile infested river and blaming the crocodile when it feeds and kills.
If you were to ask Damon who killed Katherine he was say he did it, same with Vikki.
