I enjoyed reading through the other thread of peoples least favorite, so figured I'd make a more positive one!

Here are mine: (I love the Originals but I'm not going to count them)

Caroline: I've felt Caroline to be the most relatable of everyone on the show. Her constant positive thinking is something that makes her character that more fun to watch. And don't even get me started on her chemistry with other actors. She literally looks so good with ANYONE

Valerie: I hated the idea of the heretics at first, but Valerie really grew on me, Her story was brilliant as was the actress. I do hope we'll see her again before the shows over, but then again I'd rather her stay far away so she doesn't get killed haha

Matty D: I love Matt. He's so human, kind, so beautiful and like Caroline, relatable. The thing I love about him the most is how pure he is. I loved that moment with Damon in the last episode where Damon finally apologized to him.

Bonnie: Okay season 1-5 I honestly didn't really care too much for her, but 6+ she got so much sassier and for me, likeable. Really think she deserves a happy ending over almost everyone on the show.

Elena: I've always loved Elena, just like Matt she was so pure. I loved her relationships with Stefan and Damon and was devastated when she was put in her sleeping beauty coma. I think the thing I like the most about her is how she never gives up on anyone.

Honorable Mentions: Alaric, Jo, Nora, Mary Louise, Anna, Rayna, Sybil

Katherine. SHe was deliciously smart and calculating and despite that you rooted for her. Plus Nina was excellent in this role.

Honorable Mention: Kai. I would not have liked this character as much with a different actor, but Chris Wood sold him. Smart, funny, insane and hot AF.

Elijah, but then he abandoned Kat and became a loser on TO.
Many guest stars who were killed off waaaayyyy too soon, like Georgie, Pearl and Anna and Lexi (not a fan of her revival, but in her first appearance, she was the best).
