since Cade seems to hate the Maxwells for things in the first place she brought up the theory that Matt Donovan seemed to be the most plauseable one to die.
stating that.' If someone was trying to prevent me from being here in the first place and knew of a weapon that could take me out, wouldn't they want to go after the main source of that I.e. matt's heritage lately' second she says they are shifting alot of focus on his return this season stories tied into him with a huge storyline lately after all the Token human could finally die.'? Just her thoughts and I thought about it that could be it.

I'm just watching the Miss Mystic Falls episode and had a similar thought. What if Matt was the one to end it all. How ironic.

I hope it is Matt who dies. I will welcomed his death since I never like the character. However I think it will likely be his father. But on the other Matt's death explain a few spoilers that's floating around.

...Matt's death would explain why Viki was seen on the set recently,and why Matt's mom returns to Mystic Fall. There's a spoiler that said Matt's mom Interrupt a wedding .
