IF you have been a loyal fan and put up with the stupid storylines and relationship drama over 8 seasons what would you like to see? Would you love to see Elena come back and be human? End up with Damon? Would that be the perfect finale?

My perfect finale would end with the Salvatores out of everyone's lives, whether that be through death or just leaving. I've never understood the fuss about Delena. To be honest I've found their relationship to be pretty shallow and that's why Julie and Co. shoved it down our throats so much. Their relationship is pretty toxic in my opinion.
I'd like to see it end with Elena single and leading a happy, normal life without the need for a boyfriend or husband.
I'd like the sleeping beauty spell foiled (ironic that the writers ignore loop holes in entire series but this one seems to be air tight) and have Bonnie alive with Elena at the end. And getting her witch powers back.
I don't really care what happens to Matt. In the beginning I thought it'd be cool for him and Elena to end up together in the end, but that kind of left-field/out-of-nowhere coupling seems pretty flimsy. Kind of like Bonenzo.
Kill off Alaric. He's been as useless as Tyler was since season 4. I really didn't see the point in bringing him back at all.
Caroline can have a happy life with her kids, Bonnie and Elena.
Just once I'd like to see a show like this that ends with a positive message that a woman doesn't need a relationship to complete her and make her happy. I know that'd piss off the die-hard Delena and Steroline fans, but that would honestly just be icing on the cake for me.

Same here. Would love to see Elena move on from both guys, date without settling down, having fun,living her life without needding a man to feel conplete or happy. Just like men, women do have sexual needs and can fulfill them without falling in love, commit, blablabla...Elena was 17 when Stefan got into her life and 23 when she was put in coma. She didn't have the chance to have a normal life.It's time for that.

But it's not gonna happen so I would love to see Damon,Bonnie and Caroline rushing to her coffin, finding it empty,them about to be killed by Cade or Kai and Cade or Kai gets killed first from behind. When he disappears it's Elena right behind him,holding the weapon. She saves them.Wether she reunites with Damon or not doesn't matter to me. He doesn't define her. She's a character who stands on her own and deserves better than both brothers
I think the ending is supposed to be bittersweet, so someone will die and I think it will be Stefan since they're painting him as the real monster on the show for 7 years now.
I'd like a "Where are they now" type of flash forward with Elena working in a renowned NY hospital, Damon owning a club and taking care of the kids, Bonnie being a healer and Caroline about to accept a great job offer in New Orleans.

1) Damon must die. Can't stand another minute of him.
2) Stelena (really the only thing I care about, if I get this, nothing else matters) Human would be really nice for them but I don't think there is a cure? (Stelena won by a mile on the vote, btw, had triple the number of Delena votes)
3) Matt (who I've always loved) should also die, bittersweet and all that. Just put the poor man out of his misery.
4) Bonenzo are great and they should go live in Europe and get away from all the rest of it. Bonnie shouldn't become a vampire :( It would make her so sad.
5) Let's pretend the sirens never happened. YAWN. Pretending is all we have here unfortunately.
6) Ric must die. Too much contention over whose kids they are and how to raise them.
7) Klaroline all the way, she should move over to the Originals and raise her kids in New Orleans.
8) They must all leave Mystic Falls and find new lives in places where there aren't so many bad memories.
9) An explanation for what happened to Jeremy is still owed to us.
10) Flashbacks must go away, pointless and lame.
11) Melodramatic emotional vomiting (part. Damon) must stop. Just stop. More action. Less talk.
I already said this in the post but I guess I will say it here in case somebody missed it. I have always liked Elena. In fact I loved her character. She wasn't like any typical love interest on a tv show like this. She was pro active and always wanting to help herself. I felt like she never needed anybody's help especially in season two. Take the Bonnie spell. When she put the spell over the house to protect Elena. Elena was genuily pissed about it because they took it out of her hands. A love interest actually wanting to help? Bella Swan wouldn't do that. It was her and Damon I couldn't stand. I actually felt bad for Stefan in the early years. That being said I would love to see her come back with out Bonnie dying and have a happy life. Maybe not with somebody since she is still young and have some fun before settling down. But I think her and Matt ending up would be a cool ending. Since he did get the low road at the beginning of the show and bad things always happened to him. I think it would be fitting he would end up with the woman he always cared for. Also a explanation for Jeremy not returning or where he is would be great. It's almost like they forgot about him. Let's face it love them or hate them. The show hasn't been the same with out the Gilberts. And I agree with some posters on here. Both Salvatore brothers should die or at least one of them. Maybe even Caroline. Perhaps the vampires could be extinct and Caroline sacrifices herself to save Elena. But I'm sure there will be those Caroline fans that would be upset. That would be one of the endings I would like to see. I alway said that vampires should be gone at the end of the show.
shareBonnie is the one linked to Elena, Caroline deserves to LIVE!!! So does Bonnie, why does there even have to be a death anyway. Its so damn cliché in a series ending and it always makes fans pissed. They have AB oportunity to break that cliché and have everyone have a happy ending.
shareI would love a Delena free finale. I want all these women to ditch these *beep* vampire guys and marry nice men. Elena can marry a hot doctor, Caroline an investment banker and Bonnie a published professor. I want Damon, Stefan and Enzo to literally burn in hell.
I want to see a future where the girls are happy and free from vampires and their demons and their kids all play together.
