Do you think that all the bad stuff would have never happened to Elena and her friends and family? I mean you still have Klaus and Katherine but I don't think Katherine would have gone after Elena if it wasn't for Stefan. Caroline sure wouldn't have gotten turned. And Matt would still have his sister and probably married to Elena by now. Who would be human. Never would have turned off her humanity and killed innocents. Plus don't forget all those innocent victims that Damon killed because of Stefan. Yep it's Stefan's fault. Let's discuss. :)

That is completely idiotic. Elena was a doppelgänger. She would have been targeted no matter what. And Tyler, Vicki, Matt, Caroline would have been dead 1st week by Katherine let alone Klaus if the Salvatores hadn't been there to protect them. It was Damon's fault that Vicki got killed because he turned her. Stefan had no choice but to kill her after she went crazy. He tried everything else. Everything Damon ever did as a vampire is 1000% his own damn fault. Stefan didn't force him to turn. Damon wanted to be a vampire because he wanted to be with Katherine forever. He just got all pissy when he learned Katherine turned Stefan as well and decided he didn't care enough about Stefan to stay by his side because to him Katherine meant more. When if Stefan hadn't been involved, Damon would still be a vampire doing the same stupid selfish dickish stuff he does know. Damon had no blood problem, had Stefan constantly trying to save him and never giving up on him, yet he was still a dick all for his own amusement. Stefan did have a problem and still does, actually hates being bad and tries to stop yet people judge him worse than Damon since they don't know a thing about Logic.

But I think they just judge Stefan worse than Damon cuz they like Damon better. For whatever reason. Looks maybe? I think Stefan is good looking to girls too, but I have heard from a few girls that they think Stefan is ugly.

Damon is a huge *beep* Stefan is not.

Stefan has nothing to do with all that.
Damon came to MF bc the returned meteor allowed him to free his beloved Katherine, he thought to be still in the tomb. Raping Caroline and moving in on Elena were windfall profits.
Katherine came to MF because she wanted to buy her freedom from Klaus with the moon stone.
If Stefan hadn't been there Damon would had also raped Elena (he tried but she had Stefan's necklace), Caroline would be dead and Tyler would be still sired to Klaus.

No, I disagree about Elena being married to Matt. Elena was never in love with Matt. She broke up with him before her parents died because she felt that he was getting too serious too soon. She just didn't have those kind of feeling towards him.

Human Elena died for Matt and Vampire Elena got her humanity back on only after seeing Matt getting killed/hurt so excuse me if I disagree.

No one is arguing that Elena would do anything for her friends but Matt was way more than a friend and remained so even after she became a vampire

But Elena doesn't love him in that way and never did. Both Caroline and Elena love Matt . But Elena didn't want to marry Matt when she single and human. Way before Stefan came into her life.

Maybe Elena doesn't realize it but her actions show it.How old was she when Stefan got into her life?17.She was so young,of course didn't think that it would last forever,didn't realizev the deph of her feelings

But Stefan wasn't the driving force behind all of the bad stuff that started happening. Damon was. Even if Stefan hadn't come back, Damon still would have because he wanted Katherine.

Then there's also the fact that Elena is a doppleganger, so Klaus still would have been looking for her. And Elena might not even be alive today if Stefan hadn't come back because there would've have been no one to pull her from the car when it crashed on the Wickery Bridge.
