Is anyone else annoyed that they always bring back deas characters?

I enjoy when they bring back dead characters in memories, as they did in Nostalgia's a Bitch. It's fun to see favorite actors and characters again, even if they aren't affecting "real" continuity.

I do think they've overdone the back-from-the-dead plot point on this show, but it's not unusual for a show based in the supernatural. Sam and Dean have died numerous times on Supernatural, for instance. It's become a staple of this genre. But the deaths do lose impact after a while. Plus, the writers are then stuck coming up with ridiculous excuses for why one character stays dead when others have been resurrected multiple times.

If you don't like people coming back then dont watch a supernatural show where anything is possible. The only time i hate it is if the person is in a place where they can't come back from. Like Peace and formerly oblivion (Hell) before the writers ruined that. But if they're on the other side, Phoenix Stone or Ancestral Plane then it's extremely possible they can come back.

It starts to bother me after a while because death starts to become meaningless when you can see them any time the writers feel like doing it.

I actually like it because they CAN bring back technically any character they want. Actors can go explore other shows/movies and still come back if they want. It is great because the character is never REALLY dead until the finale of the show that way. Then again I am the type that HATES it when shows permanently kill of main characters. For example, I love Joss Whedon's writing but the way he loves to kill off main characters is not something I am a big fan of. Kill off any side character in the show and I could care less... but leave the main characters alone! lol. The supernatural type shows are my favorite because they can bring people back.

I don't mind the fact it can happen, or it does happen.

What I hate is when it becomes the norm. Let it be rare. For instance, Jeremy should definitely have stayed dead. He wasn't even a useful character anyway.
