shareI'm not sure he's dead. Stefan just ripped his heart out. Damon ripped in a previous episode Stefan's heart to keep him from destroying the town yet Stefan is still alive. I think that Enzo will be back. He's a vampire just like Stefan. Riping his heart out won't kill him.

shareEnzo is a normal vampire and ripping his heart out does kill him. Stefan is able to die and come back because of the deal with Cade.
Enzo possibly could come back. I have a feeling the crew will end up in hell somehow and people there will find a way back to real world, kind of like the other side.
And I agree Enzo was an expendable character for me. Won't miss him at all. He served really no purpose when they brought him back after S5 imho
That's because his immortality under Cade made him immune to things that would kill a vampire. Enzo was not under Cade's protection so unless Bonnie unleashed a psychic scream that created a dimension to trap his soul, Enzo is donzo.
I'm glad he died too and cheered, never liked him.
