It was. But in s6 Damon told her he rebuilt it, when they were on the swing

No he told her he fixed the swing. She said it used to squeak and he tells her he fixed it since he and Bonnie went there everyday.

I seem to recall that the house was burnt. Elena burnt it, No?
Did they rebuild it?

If it is a flashback, then IMO the flashback of Delena in the finale is not a good sign for Delena's future...

Could it be a flashback of Damon/Katherine? This story started with Damon looking for Katherine, no?

Yeah she burnt it down in S4 but they did four Gilbert house scenes in S6 and one in S7.

When Elena took the cure Damon got in her head and made it like they were on the porch again. Maybe they are doing it so Damon takes the cure there too? Lol.

Didn't exist in real world TVD, one scene was of Damon going in Bonnie's head trying to break the huntress curse. The Gilbert house now seems to be used for flashbacks, or visions/dreams in people's minds.

The symbolism of the porch for Delena leads me to think it might be Damon taking the cure or proposing. They had their first kiss there, Elena told him she loved him for the first time there, and Damon made it appear when Elena took the cure. It would make sense that he would do it again for him taking the cure or proposing.

people said Nina had short hair after this scene which leads me to believe it could very well be a future scene too

Maybe they house got re-built, if this show can resurrect people from the dead all the time. It isn't impossible to think they could use magic to bring a house back and restore it LOL

But probably is just a flashback, vision or a flashforward with a new house in the same location.

THE HOUSE DID NOT GET REBUILT. THAT HOUSE IN SEASON SIX WAS ELENA'S HOUSE IN 1993 PRISON WORLD FOR KAI. THE SWING HE FIX IS FROM THAT HOUSE. THE REAL TIME HOUSE IS BURNT DOWN.
