I hope the cure doesn't work in stefan

Hopefully Cade can wipe it out or the dosage wasn't enough to permanently work on Stefan. His turn as a villain has been too compelling to end like this.

If it's impact is to have permanent repercussions I hope it's only a means of restoring his humanity. I really don't think human Stefan is something I would want to see at this point.

I'm sure others may disagree, but I was pretty disappointed it went that route. It's a predictable road to travel and if he is indeed cured then we already know how it's going to end...with a big old Stefan sacrifice. It's not that the act is without meaning or out of character, it's just not that compelling or original.

Anyway, just wanted to put it out there and enjoy one last discussion while we still have the means to do so.

On that note - what IMDb is pulling with the boards is *beep* stupid.

By the way, the title was supposed to say "on Stefan". Overzealous autocorrect and IMDb app not allowing me to change it means I have to clarify my meaning with a reply. Apologies

I'm not sure how the cure would be able to work. I'm thinking Cade's evil may Trump that cure.

Are we going to see a human immortal with cure wiping out the vampirism but Cade's magic able to resurrect?

As much as i wish Stefan won't die, at this point either he or Damon would have to make a huge sacrifice. Stefan has to die if Damon will ever be with Elena as a human. Damon has to sacrifice dying/living and having kids with Elena. I think its more likely to be the first now though.

Even with his ripperness gone, Stefan is going to be consumed by guilt. So I bet he willingly gives his blood to Damon because he feels thats the best way to atone.

Stefan is carrying the only weapon they have at their disposal to kill Cade at this point so their will be some angst around that for a while but we know the gang will find another way.

Never argue with stupid people,they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Logically the cure shouldn't work since it was stated many times you need every drop of their blood to get it. But the writers have never cared about consistency before so why start now.

I originally thought Elena would be pregnant with Gemini spell saving the twins. With one comes all,saving all pregnancies,despite twins transfer into Caroline. I thought double cure with two blood systems circulating and saw massive vampire cure available.Guess I was wrong.I also thought Bonnie ,with help of Gemini siphoned twins would help take Cade down by giving Bonnie extra magic in Kais spell. Hate to see a Stefan sacrifice.

It would just mean that I will NEVER get my Stefan/Caroline happy ending, but I had a feeling that it wasn't going to end that way no matter how hard Caroline fights to get HER Stefan back! I know many don't like them as a couple but I happen to really love them as a couple. They have been through so much but really haven't had a lot of "happy time" together, it seems all the writers did for them is have to fight to get one or the other's humanity back on. I do know that they love each other very much and as much as some posters would love to think Caroline was NEVER Stefan's "second choice"; yeah he loved Elena in the past but she fell in love w/his brother Damon and chose him, Stefan may have been hurt in the beginning but he did get over it. Again, that was the past for Stefan. Caroline/Stefan were VERY close friends already which I loved about them (I loved their talks under the stars and just hanging out w/each other)and they eventually fell deep in love. Stefan was really there for Caroline when her mother got ill, and even helped Caroline and her mother as well; Hell even Caroline's mother could tell "something was brewing" and asked if he would please look after Caroline b/c she knew Stefan was falling for her daughter. Caroline would've been his future (she may very well still be depending on this "cure reaction" crap the writers are "conjuring" up). Repeating myself here (again) but as for the cure (w/these writers) anything could happen, but I think Stefan will end up sacrificing his life and Caroline will lose the "love of her life" and Stefan will never be w/Caroline "the love of his life". We have NO idea what is coming for the end of this show b/c they are keeping a "tight lid" on who, what, when, why, will happen next.. and if Nina Dobrev aka Elena Gilbert will be back for the series finale after everything that has currently happened in the last sad episode.....! ANYWAY, I am not sorry my post is so long since we don't have much time left on these message boards, I will miss them b/c there are other shows I watch and discussed on those IMDB boards. I didn't post a lot just every now and then, but I loved reading what other posters had to say and I will miss that b/c I enjoyed reading theories on what will happen next w/story lines, characters and so on very much. So thanks everyone for posting its sad that IMDB feels the need to take it all away now... we only have a couple of weeks left until its gone. I'm sure I will still be checking posts out and may even reply to some if I have a opinion I want to share... Take Care
