About time they killed Enzo

I was elated to see Stefan rip Enzo's heart out in Friday's episode. Enzo is a complete monster. He's killed too many people to count. Are we supposed to sympathize with him because he likes Bonnie's vagina? This idea that these terrible characters turn good to impress their girlfriends doesn't work. As we've seen with Damon, when their girlfriend dumps them they just start killing again. Remember the first season, when Bonnie actually had morals and didn't sleep with serial killers? Are we supposed to feel sympathy for Bonnie that her murdering boyfriend is dead? I say it was about damn time. They should have killed him three years ago. Oh, wait. They did kill him three years ago. Then they just brought him back to life because death means nothing in this show.
