WHY DO THE WRITERS HATE BONNIE

SHE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS I'M
ACTUALLY CRYING

I just watched it and said the same thing

That's because bonnie is a pathetic character

It's going to be Pee Pee Pants City here REAL soon -Negan

reply

You got that backward. She's always saving and sacrificing for pathetic characters who can't help themselves.

She could've run off with Enzo and let those morons f themselves.

reply

She is not pathetic. She is the strongest character of all - good friend, badass powers fighting villains like Katherine and Klaus since season 2, selfless, beautiful, capable of doing what SHE believes, capable of being important to nearly every character on the show, capable of falling in love and being loved .... she is definitely one of the strongest.

Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And whatever you do, don't Blink. 🏦

I've been asking that for the longest, the writers refuse to let bonnie be happy for any amount of time with anyone. I'm certain her name on the scripts is under sacrificial lamb smh. Atleast she has her magic back so she can thanklessly save the day yet again...or die trying just for kicks.

reply

Hell her magic came back. I dont give a damn i hope she finds a way to become immortal without turning into a vampire. Finds a way to bring Enzo back to life runs off and says fluck everyone else since they keep screwing her over.

Literally. Why does every single person on the show that was an og cast member that is still on this show get to be happy and coupled up but her? Jeremy off fine somewhere. Steroline. Delena. Hell even Rick has his twins. Even Matt is married to being Sheriff. Wtf.

reply

^^ I agree 100% with what you just said.

I admit they got me. The writers made me think they were finally going to let Bonnie have her own happiness, instead of just using her to be some magical ex machina that always ends up w/ the short end of the stick.

To get reactions and open threads just like this.

Not to mention, I truly believe they needed to get Enzo out of the way to pave the way for a Bonnie/Damon relationship (whether some people are on board with that or not).

What keeps fans invested in shows like this is the writer's willingness to kill off characters and incite reactions. I highly doubt many diehard fan, especially with this being the final season,is just going to throw in the towel and stop watching after the death of Enzo. In fact, this is a ploy to get more live viewers.

At this point I do not believe that they will try to join Bonnie and Damon together. I love love love Bonnie and Damon's relationship and I will admit that after season 4, 5, and 6, I thought they could be a thing... but I now love them for their friendship :)
The writers have thrown Damon and Elena's love constantly in this show and this season and it would be nonsense to make Bamon a thing now... especially since Enzo meant so much to her ugh guys...

But yes Bonnie is my favorite and I do believe that the writers actually do write big storylines for her... they just happen to hurt her in episode 11 to make the story more dramatic and get our reactions.

Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And whatever you do, don't Blink. 🏦

I did not think it was possible to draw this much emotion out of me at this point in the series, but my god, Katerina delivered a powerful performance in that closing scene. So much raw talent and conviction. I wasn't big on the Bonnie and Enzo relationship and thought it felt shoehorned, but I think they ended up developing it well and it served its purpose in the end. It's so sad that seeing this character struggle for this long. I hope she's given the happy ending she deserves.

I know!
