I think she created a parallel dimension where good supernatural people are going to go when they die.

Her magic coming back maybe? Can't believe that ending! The first good episode of season 8!!

OMg I loved that because I was crying so much for her ughhh and then we can tell that she basically released a burst of energy with all the pain that she felt from her life at that point - kinda like the burst of energy Cade released when he was burnt at the stake and created his Hell dimension. My first thought was that she got her powers back. Because in that moment something so traumatic and painful like losing Enzo would be enough to trigger her powers back.
On second thought I feel like she could be unconsciously creating her own parallel dimension either where she could be with her loved ones in peace or where a prison world kinda formed..... and she's gonna take down Kai.

Maybe she created a new dimension where they can put Cade for all eternity?
I have a feeling that whatever it was, it's somehow going to undo a lot of the horrible things that have happened since Elena was put under a sleeping spell.
