So Emily was one of the witches that was burned alive, correct?
The one thing i'm more curious about is, how did Sybil, who said in a previous episode that the smell of the burning witches was delicious and the smoke lasted for days, when it was shown she had been trapped in the armory vault with Seline? Did I miss something?
If you're talking about the flashback last episode, that was Beatrice Bennett not Emily Bennett. Emily wasn't even born yet. She was burned at the stake but not until years later and Sybil was no where near at the time.
Oh yeah I'm aware it was Beatrice, but isn't that the same burning of the witches they were referring to? Or was there two different events that somehow happened at the exact same location?
I remember Caroline saying to Sybil in a previous episode about Sybils last visit to mystic falls was around the same time as 100 witches were burned at the stake
Sybil would've still been locked in the vault though, so i'm unsure of how she would have smelt anything or known how long the smoke lasted
Sybil never mentioned anything about Emily. She when talking to Caroline in 8x08 was referring to the 100 witches who died in 1790. Emily wasn't even born yet.
I am not even talking about Emily now? I was confused as I wasn't aware there was two different burning of witches at the exact location(Yes, it's the exact same building if the wiki is correct). The wiki itself states the 100 witches were killed due to Sybil and Selines interferance, which I assume are the 100 witches Bonnie channeled, and the ones who helped cloak the Originals coffins from Klaus. But now i'm hella confused because now there's two different burning of the witches.
In regards to Sybil, I was referring to how she said the smell was delicious and the smoke lasted for days. Which she wouldn't have possibly known if she was trapped in the Armory Vault as we saw in the last episode? I'm guessing it was just a plot hole or Sybil was talking smack.
That's my point, but they went down into the tunnels straight after the witches burned, which is why i'm curious as to why Sybil would say the smoke/smell lasted for days when she was locked up underground by then
