Fantastic Sleeper of a Film
One would have to watch this film a few times to get all of the subtleties. It's perfect in its imperfection, much like real life, and the story is one that many can relate to, or will in time. It seems like a second coming-of-certain-age film with influences more from the 1970s than the hyperbolic '80s. And the breadth of the characters is inspiring. So refreshing; a fine analogy to the sub-plotline of *beep* Hopefully, more films like this, no matter the subject, will be see the light of the cinema before cable.
