Scene when Jesse shows back up and is smoking

right after Riley tells her about her dark prison.

what a realistic slice of life portrayed on the screen.
the way they hang out and talk and Jesse asks if they could just lay together for a minute and he tells her he cant believe hes having a child with someone and its not you.
the look on her face was so dead on accurate. it portrayed the pain of what they were going through. To me this is a heartbreaking movie on a few different levels. Not a happy ending by any stretch. Two people perfect together are not going to be together any longer and one of those rare relationships most people never get to experience is ending. sad sad sad

So true. I was almost confused when later he acted like that didn't even happen...I was thinking, did she imagine it?! But he made that decision to move on because he had to. That scene made it so clear that they both loved each other, but it was too late to go back.

I loved/hated that scene, it just felt so sad, and I was seriously pissed off at him, and I felt she had a right to be pissed off at him too, she was trying to move on as well, she had fun going on a date with the guy from yoga (I forgot his name) and was kind of letting go, and then he shows up at her doorstep, it was NOT fair to her at all. She completely broke down after that, I pretty much cried during every scene after that one.

That scene is really strong for real those words " I cant believe im having a baby and it isnt with you" and the way she hears it but doesnt say anything back to him .. Just try to contain her tears. It hit me hard I dont know why it just made me cry a lot and I dont cry at movies.

One of the best, most real scenes, in my opinion. I'd feel that way if I was in the situation with my current partner.
